Seen & Unseen - introduction

Seen & Unseen is a process-led body of work exploring garment as canvas. This journal documents the material study, production decisions, and exhibition development behind the collection.

Material & Foundation

The collection began with fabric research and sourcing. Textiles were selected for texture, weight, and their ability to receive paint. Garments were constructed with attention to structure before surface work began.

Painting & Process

Paint was layered slowly, allowing time between stages. Each garment was developed through revision, drying periods, and reflection. The work was produced in a small studio environment using a hands-on, resource-conscious process.
